An operation theatre (OT), also known as an operating room, is a hospital unit where major and minor life-saving surgical procedures are performed by the physicians. It is a fully restricted unit to maintain sterile aseptic conditions. Operation theatres are equipped and designed for physicians, surgeons, and surgical staff to perform operations that require patience, time, and safety. The preoperative area, operational area, and postoperative care are the three main units of an operation theatre.

Kanke General Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art operating theatres capable of performing a wide range of surgeries. All operating rooms have led OT lights, high-quality OT tables, anaesthetic workstations, all medical gases, and dedicated nursing staff. We have world-class operating rooms and expert doctors who can perform any critical surgery. Our doctors in the OT department perform general surgery, cardiac operations, transplant procedures, coronary artery bypass, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, urology, cosmetic surgery, and GI surgery.
